La Santa Swing - Dancing

We aim to offer two­ ­or ­three lessons each day, leaving plenty of time to take advantage of all the other facilities available.

In Lindy Hop, there will be 4 levels of classes: Beginner/Improver, Intermediate, Intermediate/Advanced and ‘Blooming Flashy’.

For Aerials, there will be a mixture of small social aerials and the more flashy moves for performances. Also, don't be suprised to attend an Aerial class in the pool.

For Balboa, there will be 2 levels of classes: Beginner/Improver and Intermediate.

Also, we will offer a number of Taster classes on a wide range of dances including Shag, Boogie Woogie, Blues, Jazz, Burlesque, Westcoast and Charleston.

 

 

Evening dances

We will organize dances on several of the evenings, leaving the other evenings free to enjoy some of the other entertainment laid on each night by the resort, or to take your time eating with and getting to know the other dancers. (The fanatics amongst you will squeeze in another game of squash or something equally relaxing!).

One evening will be very bluesy (Blues at the beach).

On one evening (usually on Wednesday), the resort holds a cabaret and invites all the visitors to perform, so this is a perfect opportunity for dancers to shine. Usually, two kinds of groups perform that night: Us and the kids from La Santa's "Playtime" kindergarten :-)

 

Entertainment

Also, there will be a Live Band this year! You will love them, they are a lot of fun!!! And if you have been to the Munich Lindy Exchange before, you know them already.
